About Rebel Global Trade

A sourcing and trading desk operating from Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai — built around specification, verification and landed cost.

Who we are

Global sourcing. Limitless possibilities.

Rebel Global Trade is a business-to-business sourcing and trading desk operating from Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, trading fresh fruit and vegetables, grains, rice and pulses, and packaged FMCG.

We sit between growers and buyers. On one side, producers and packhouses that can supply consistently but do not have the reach, documentation discipline or freight relationships to serve a demanding import market directly. On the other, importers, distributors and processors who need a specification met exactly, on a date they can plan around.

Jebel Ali puts us next to the port infrastructure that most of this cargo moves through, which matters more than it sounds: it shortens the distance between a problem at the quayside and someone accountable picking up the phone.

How we think

Four principles we actually apply

PRINCIPLE 01

Demand before supply

We build buyer requirements before we chase supplier catalogues. A supplier list with no matching demand is a spreadsheet, not a business.

PRINCIPLE 02

Specification before price

We will not ask a supplier for a final price until a real buyer specification exists, and we will not give a buyer a price until the landed cost is calculated.

PRINCIPLE 03

Risk where it belongs

Licensed importers, brokers, inspectors and cold stores handle the regulated work. We do not improvise around food safety or customs.

PRINCIPLE 04

Prove the lane, then scale

Sample, then trial order, then volume. Our Jebel Ali Free Zone warehouse scales with proven lanes; owned inventory and headcount follow demonstrated repeat demand, not forecasts.

Division of responsibility

What we do ourselves, and what we don't

Plenty of trading companies imply they handle everything. We would rather be precise about where our work ends and a specialist's begins — because that is the part that determines who is actually accountable when a consignment goes wrong.

  1. Sourcing and qualification — us

Finding producers that genuinely match an origin, season and capacity, then verifying registration, certification, export history and bank-beneficiary details before any commercial discussion advances.

  2. Specification and landed cost — us

Turning a buyer's requirement into a written specification suppliers can quote against identically, and building the full cost stack before a price is issued.

  3. Inspection — appointed specialists

Third-party inspectors at origin, on loading or on arrival. Who appoints them and who bears the cost is agreed in writing before the order, not afterwards.

  4. Freight and clearance — licensed partners

Experienced freight forwarders and licensed customs brokers handle carriage, consignment release and any product registration the destination market requires.

  5. Cold chain and distribution — licensed operators

Temperature-controlled storage and onward delivery through approved food-handling facilities. We specify the regime; accountable operators maintain it.
